I just don't get it. There has to be some ulterior motive to the decision that the public option may be dropped from the healthcare bill. I mean, Obama seemed so sure of himself, so unavailing in his drive to push the bill forward in its gruesome entirety. Then, all of a sudden, the public option isn't a crucial part of the healthcare bill? Sounds a bit FISHY, no?
But on the bright side, maybe, just maybe, the government is finally listening to us. Maybe we're finally speaking up (thus the being listened to). If so, then keep it up.
And, of course, our President has flip-flopped yet again. He claims the "public option" tenet's supreme and undeniable importance one day, and refers to it dismissively the next. Kind of FISHY. The sad thing is, now all of his supporters are ticked off. He might do the right (literally) thing for America, but more likely he'll try to please both sides (which is, of course, impossible). This is the kind of thing he does. He doesn't know what he's talking about, so he just walks around withe a "Place Political Position of Choice Here" sign. And that works out soooo well.
Well, I am proud of America. Whether the government has something fishy up its sleeve (besides your money) or not, I'm proud that we took a stand.
It's the spirit of 1776, and boy, am I glad to see it.
P.S. Don't let your guard down, and don't quit doing what you're doing. In fact, double the guard and the effort. Let's not stop rising until every socialist, thieving liberal is out of the government.
It's the spirit of 1776-- an American Revolution.
