What right do we have to go taking innocent lives through euthanasia, abortion, and all that?
What right do we have to torture terrorists and destroy our planet?
Are you saying that abortion and euthanasia are in the same category as the things you just mentioned?
Yes.
So the things you just mentioned are in the same category as abortion and euthanasia...all of the things in both groups are wrong?
Yes. Wait--no. Wait. Ask me the question again.
Hm.

Experience
Wow. I didn't even catch this at first. I mean, he's been President for, like, four months, and I just noticed it a bit ago.
Barack Obama, a nine-month Illinois senator, called twenty-two-month Alaska governor Sarah Palin "inexperienced".
This is truly saddening. In politics, we don't catch things like that. We voted for a truly inexperienced candidate. Someone whose name shall not be mentioned called Obama a great leader. A leader of what? The Inexperienced Leaders Club?
Now, Obama isn't the only one. I wish I could say that the Republicans have been doing great. I can't. They have not been sticking to their principles. They aren't even Republicans anymore. Which is, of course, why I am basically boycotting the word "Republican". I'm sticking with "conservative" and "liberal".
And the rest of the liberals, besides Obama, are helping, too. The just aren't the famous ones everyone talks about.
Yes, Obama is doing bad things, but so is the rest of the government. We let it get too big. Too powerful. People are too dependent on the government. They want someone else to solve their problems. They wanted to live on a cloud, floating happily with their hearts' desires. They wanted everything and they wanted the government to get it for them. The government is only too happy to oblige.
There is a saying. A government powerful enough to give you anything you desire is also powerful enough to take away everything you have.

Planned Parenthood
Abortion doesn't make you not a mother. It just makes you the mother of a dead baby.
Don't know who said that, but it makes you think.
Here's some more food for thought:
The lady who started Planned Parenthood? Idolized Hitler. Wanted to cut off the reproduction of African Americans and other "impure" races.
Quote from Mr. Obama: "I will not back down and Planned Parenthood will not back down."
News for President Obama: Planned Parenthood was established to destroy YOU. Your family. Your race. Did you know that?
So you go ahead. Knock yourself out. "Don't back down" as you plow onward side by side with the organization that wanted to wipe you out.
Oh, and about being "open-minded" on abortion? Do you mean the kind of open-minded when they suck the baby's brain out so it's nice and open in there? Not very appealing.
You mean open-minded like forcing doctors to perform abortions, not informing mothers about the truth of abortion or any alternatives, keeping parents from their rights and responsibilities to their daughters, not letting state governments decide whether or not partial-birth abortion is legal in their state, forcing taxpayers to fund abortions, and forcing babies to die?
Will you listen to the 51% of Americans who say NO?
Or the mere 42% who think murdering children is okay. Talk about child abuse.
People call me and my conservative friends racist. But wait--we oppose Planned Parenthood, which was established as a racist organization. We judge by principles, not appearance. If we don't like Obama's principles, it doesn't dictate whether or not we are racist. Conservatives, at least good ones, are not racist. As for Obama's ally, Planned Parenthood... I can't say the same.
So beware, my friends. Nothing is what it seems (scary music).

The H1-N1 Philosophy
We all know about the swine flu or the H1-N1 virus or whatever its politically correct name is. Right? No. See, we realize, oh, look, something else to be afraid of for a while. But it pretty much stops at our fear (or indifference). We don't see the implications of this whole "offending pig farmers" thing.
I agree. We should not take it out on the pigs. But if I want to call it the swine flu, I'm calling it the swine flu. For those poor ignorant souls who murder innocent pigs in the dead of night so they won't be infected, well... too bad for you and the pigs.
It's like, I say "swine flu" and all of a sudden I've offended all these pig farmers. Let's apply this principle somewhere else, shall we?
"Crime is wrong." Oops, I just offended criminals!
Freedom of speech is there because we all have our opinions and we have a right to express them.
Some will insist that freedom of speech is wrong if it oppresses others. In stating that, however, they have excercised their freedom of speech, so how is freedom of speech wrong? Also, if they say that freedom of speech is wrong if it oppresses others, aren't they oppressing people who want freedom of speech?
People get offended. Anything can be classified as hate speech. "I like black coffee" could be offensive to anyone who doesn't like black coffee. "Want to watch some football?" could be offensive to someone who hates sports.
We were made to have disagreements. There are people who would be disagreeing with this whole entry or this whole blog. Disagreements are necessary. That's how we decide what we believe, how we learn to defend it. Freedom of speech is essential, because it's how we voice our beliefs and disagreements. We need freedom of speech, and I know some people disagree with that.
I'm not saying everyone can just create their own reality. No. There's right and there's wrong. But people, however misguided they may be :-), are entitled to free speech. Why do you think I'm writing this? Just because some people get offended shouldn't stop people from voicing their opinions.
Freedom of speech is an entitlement that all Americans have and it should never be taken away.
